About us

Who runs yensend.jp, and how the comparison data is put together.

Last updated: September 15, 2026

1. About this site

yensend.jp compares the total cost of sending money from Japan overseas. It exists so that foreign residents in Japan can choose a transfer method based on what actually reaches the recipient — fees and exchange rate margin combined. We do not move funds ourselves and are not a registered remittance provider.

2. Who runs this site

yensend.jp is operated by Moru LLC (Moru合同会社). We design, build, and verify the data in-house.

3. Editorial policy

The comparison board is ordered by total cost — transfer fee plus exchange rate margin — from cheapest to most expensive. Advertising and referral relationships never affect that order. Every ad slot carries an "Advertisement" label and is visually separated from the comparison table.

4. Where the data comes from

Exchange rates come primarily from Wise's public comparison API, and per-provider fees are taken from each company's published information. Every row shows its retrieval timestamp. When a provider cannot be reached we mark it as temporarily unavailable rather than showing a stale figure as current. The calculation method is documented on the methodology page.

5. Limits of these figures

The figures shown are snapshots taken at the time of retrieval. The provider's own screen takes precedence for final terms. Availability and fees can change depending on the amount sent, the payout method, and the time of day.
